WEDDING PLANNING
A Challenging Career
Wedding Planning is a challenging career choice that will also give you
a lot of satisfaction.
If you decide to make your career in planning weddings, our
training is a solid step in the right direction. The real planning you
will learn by doing; therefore, a large portion of the training is out
of practical assignments. But what skills do you actually need to
be a good Wedding Planner?
Wedding planning consists mainly of organising and co-ordinating. If you like to organise and coordinate, then you already have
a great chance of success. As a Wedding Planner you must have
excellent people skills; you will be working with different people:
the bride and groom, guests, suppliers and venues all with their
own standards, values, ideas and wishes. Therefore, a flexible
attitude and respect for others is desired. A Wedding Planner
should be able to keep a cool head under pressure. Moreover, a
service-oriented and proactive attitude are also of great
importance when planning the perfect wedding as well as
enterprising, being meticulous, creative with a good sense of
style and a humour. So if you are a people person, energetic,
enthusiastic, self-motivated and you enjoy organisation, then this
may be the training for you.
A Wedding Planner ensures that the happiest day of a couple’s
life becomes a reality.
