Terracon is a 100 percent employee-owned consulting engineering firm providing quality services to clients. In 2008, Terracon partnered with Great Horizons, a charitable foundation based in Kansa City, MO, to establish a corporate philanthropy initiative, the Terracon Foundation.
The Terracon Foundation gives in several ways. One of which is through community grants that support local, nonprofit programs in our communities with active engagement of Terracon employees. As such, a member of our Leadership Advisory Board, currently a Terracon employee nominated our 4-H & Youth Development program's Kids & Kows & More agricultural litery program. We were notified in December that we had recieved $3,255.00 from them to enhance program delivery to students and teachers. We can't wait to put this to good use!
