Brief Description of Hiring Challenge for Veteran:
I found that the largest challenge I had during the process was time. I was still working and taking two college courses while looking for a new job. I found job hunting to be a full-time job all by itself; thankfully my current office was very understanding and allowed me time during the duty when needed.

CASY, specifically Amy, helped me out a great deal with getting my resume on track; she explained how, why,and when I needed cover letters. She provided tools to help ensure my resume matched up to the position I was applying for.
Result of Assistance:
I had a job offer within 3 weeks.

I would recommend CASY’s assistance to anyone looking; even if you think you have it down, it never hurts to have someone else review your resume before submitting it. I have learned so much from this process, and I am using it to now help my daughter find a better job.
