Accepting the award for CASY were the CEO, Admiral Dan Kloeppel; COO, Stacy Bayton; and Operations Manager for CASY, Erin Voirol. “This was such an honor to be recognized in this way,” said Stacy Bayton. She remarked, “The CASY team has been working hard with employers, associations, community based nonprofits, and the military in our direct connect model to expand opportunities and increase placements for military and veterans nationwide. Many of those companies, agencies, and nonprofits were in the room with us, and that meant something.”

CASY is appreciative to Center for America for the recognition. “Center for America has been one of our biggest supporters the last few years,” Bayton said. “Through their tireless efforts over 1,400 small and mid-size companies have connected with CASY to partner in the placement of transitioning military and veterans throughout the country and that is just scratching the surface of their work.”

CASY has fine tuned their success model in the sourcing, screening, and placement of military and veterans into positions that are a match for their skills and abilities. As we move into 2015, our organization will continue to work closely with companies, trade associations, community based nonprofits, and the military to educate states and installations in the working model for placement as used in CA and NC; expand training and gap skills opportunities for transitioning military and National Guard in order to prepare them for placement; and expand relationships with employers in order to facilitate placement of our trained and ready workforce as they transition.
