WHAT NIGHT BRINGS By: Katy Zart The lake’s waves like a pulsating heart beat constant, cascading, a backdrop to the chattering night life. Voices intertwine as one yet flow away with the waves finding their own melodic hum. Drifting through the dark I realize, nothing compares to sailing through the perception of song. For me, nothing surpasses the ease that evolves under the canopy of a cloudy night. Rising swells of tidal waves muted to the tone of a naked seashore. We know these moments. They slip by like a rushing current and we long to swim back to the beauty of a drink and a song— the beauty of what night brings. “GEOMETRY” By: Matthew Widen 57 “MORGAN FALLS” By: Timothy Koski 58
