But to answer the question , I love almost every role I have ever had but I have not had my dream role yet . My dream role would be to play a lead role in a remake of Jaws or a lead role in a conclusion to the Jaws franchise . I almost secured a role hosting Shark Week for the Discovery Channel a few years back and I have been in talks with the creators of Sharknado about a future role , but for me nothing would make me happier than being casted in a Jaws movie . Even though it ' s been 30 years since their last film , my fingers remain crossed . I have been a shark enthusiast my whole life and it all started with Jaws .
MORE Mag :: What are your goals for 2017 and what words of encouragement would you give for 2017 ?
Sean Nordsell : After all the loss of talent the world experienced in 2016 , we have to push forward and have faith in a better year to come . I believe 2017 is going to be a great year . I have a movie premiering that I was honored to be a part of called " Redemption Way ". It ' s a faith based film , I highly recommend everybody to check it out when it is released . Also " Not another Black Movie " by Jay Davis , just released starring Janet Hubert of " The fresh Prince of Bel Air ". My part did not make the final cut , but the movie is still sure to make you laugh . I also have several other projects scheduled to begin filming this year .
My goal for 2017 I guess would be to step out of the " ungoogleable actor " category and start getting credit for more of the work that I do . Even though I do it for the love of the art , " in this hi tech world " it will be beneficial in securing my future as an actor .
So for 2017 , stay positive and stay tuned , remember that God is in control . Trust in His plan and you won ' t be let down .
