Golf opportunities are plentiful in area
Monticello Country Club A public golf course with a private golf club ’ s name , Monticello ’ s golf club is entering its sixth decade of operation and is quietly known as one of the best golf clubs in the area . Excellent greens pair well with being set away from much of Monticello proper , giving Monticello Country Club plenty of quiet areas to best play the game of golf .
While the course itself opens when the weather improves and closes when the weather turns south late in the fall , the country club ’ s party room is open for all to rent for whatever events they choose it for .
Riverwood National Golf Club
Constructed in 2005 , the Riverwood National Golf Club takes advantage of extensive open space in the area of Otsego , Minn . to give golfers a challenge if they want it . The championship ( black ) tees measure out over 7000 yards of golfing , one of the lengthier courses available for golfers in the state .
With its indoor facilities including a restaurant , proshop and banquet hall , there is plenty of room to host events for up to 300 people . Riverwood National is right across the road from Vintage Golf Course , an 18-hole golf course that pairs well with Riverwood National . Entering its 19th year of operation , Vintage gives golfers just as much of a challenge as its partner across County Road 39 .
Pebble Creek Golf Club
A public golf course north of Becker , Pebble Creek Golf Club is operated by the city of Becker . Utilized for many tournaments , the 27-hole golf course gives just about everyone interested in playing golf something to enjoy .
Equipped with a practice facility , food and beverage availabilities , and the ability to host events in their indoor facilities , Pebble Creek has the ability to attract sizable crowds and has the space to host larger tournaments
Cedar Creek Golf Course
Located in the outskirts of Albertville , Cedar Creek is yet another option for golfers to enjoy in the Monticello area . St . Michael-Albertville ’ s public golf course , Cedar Creek is an 18-hole course .
Operating now for more than 20 years , Cedar Creek is aging gracefully , with its fairways and greens mixed in around numerous small bodies of water and sand traps .
Reasonable prices for tournament hosting and food / beverages in their clubhouse , Cedar Creek is accessible for everyone .
