The presciently-named “ Wow , that wasWeird : A Post-Election Evening withStephenColbert & John Oliver ” washeld at NJPAC in Newark last November . It was the latest iteration of the wildly successful annual benefit for the Montclair Film Festival , and the on-stage conversation betweenthe two comedy giants entertaineda sold-outcrowd .

MAKE YOURSELF APRIORITY
The Women ’ s Health Advisory Committee of HackensackUMC Mountainside held its first annual women ’ s health event late last year . The event concluded with akeynote luncheon address that focused on strategies to help women cope with mental and physical stress .
THE MONTCLAIR FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL ’ S “ THE SPEAKEASY ”
The Wellmont Theater played host to this fun fundraiser “ reminiscent of the Prohibition Era ” ( rightdowntotheseblack and white photos ). Over 20 area restaurants contributed culinary bites ; Trent Armand Kendall + Brass Illusion providedthe music .
