[ jc ] yes I know companies rarely want to insure them .. but Ive seen a few around ! and at a dealership in vancouver I want to visit

[ jc ] well thank you ! I will take that as a compliment
[ m . ink ] You drive around to all your music festivals too ? I creeped you and saw you trekking around southern Ontario going to some of the medium-sized EDM festivals over the last few years
[ jc ] Yes I do ! Although Ive slowed down a whole lot . I go more to underground concerts and events now . I found alot of the festivals I went to year after year had too many of the same dj ’ s . and I more appreciate the music now- not just the party scene so I dont need as huge of an event to be satisfied
[ jc ] those things used to be a huuge part of my life but I have been trying to focus more on saving and focusing on my agency work and my work / dream career as a mechanic
[ m . ink ] that ’ s awesome . Yeah , the underground events are more intimate , with real people . How did you and Zeik come up with your concept for your shoot for this issue ? or was there any planning
[ jc ] yes I agree , people with the same interests that I have , more of a meaning and I dont need to drink to enjoy lol . honestly not really know ! Our original idea was smoke bombs at an abandoned barn by my house , we did a couple shots of those but found we more enjoyed the scenery and moodiness of the location , basically just worked our way around the barn- the flowers , into the forest in the fields etc . until ( wierd part ) some guy thats been there the whole time stands maybe a metre away from our shoot , stares says nothing .. we continued on ...
He took his car drove it through the fields a few times with his high beams on nearly hitting us each time and hid from us in the field long story short he basically chased us out we were too scared to stay and we saw he waited for us to leave and then drove back down on the property .. very strange . so we went to tim hortons to look over the image and decided we still had some inspiration .. so for the shots we submitted to you we honestly took whatever random pieces of clothing i had left in my car , took a walk around my home town and suprisingly found inspiration and cool shots at the lights at the local mandarin and an esso gas station / phone booth near by ! Quite random ! But zeik is awesome in that way he can find beauty anywhere
[ jc ] thank you ! I was a freelance model the majority of my modelling career , I still do shoots etc where I find inspiration and I love meeting all the
new faces and talent I prefer images that not just showcase a physical look of a person .. I prefer something with a mood .. something that shows the immense diversity and beauty of the human body , something that shows a persons passions and feelings captured within an image .. its not something to showcase ones look or body .. as the artist side of me .. it is more something to express yourself something that lights a spark in me when i look at it , something that makes me think of memories or remember a certain feeling
[ m . ink ] that ’ s awesome .. something that ’ s missing in a lot of photoshoots today . Can only hope more artists move towards that human connection . A great model is often a great actor , as well . do you have any interesting projects coming up in the winter ? and --- you doing anything for halloween ?
[ jc ] I agree , a lot are lacking a certain passion and more do it for the social media or “ likes ” or name brands these days .. Ive never tried acting I am fairly shy ! I have a couple .. One I am very excited for is a darker moodier set with Jessica stuber and joe mcguire , coming up in november ! and im in a creative runway show november fifth for a hair salon .. with
a twist I am being more spontanious lately and letting things flow and happen as they are supposed to without me overworking and planning every little detail because i find the best work is unplanned
[ jc ] but nothing so far for halloween ! Spending some time with my boyfriend wil see what he feels like this year
[ m . ink ] already too damn cold to be outside and Jessica Stuber and Joe are awesome . They always put together such interesting stuff . [ jc ] I know its too bad i love summer and all the outdoor adventures it brings . They are ! I am super excitd to see what we come up with ! me either . Hoping to work with zeik again very soon and have some other collabs I have been meaning to get to .

[ m . ink ] Shoots-wise what kind of images inspires you most ? I know the agency provides you the money side and work .. but really -- clearly you have the artsy side in you too
