Stores go in andout of business in our town but therealwaysseems to be at least onestore devotedtodresses in downtown Millburn . This is a photo of the interior of the Marx Department Store , owned by Samuel B . Marx , which was first locatedat326 Millburn Avenue , and then at 313 Millburn Avenue , at the corner of Millburn Avenue and Lackawana Place . The store was in business from 1928 to 1964 . Dresses like those pictured might be making a comeback : In the current film , “ Hidden Figures ,” and the show , “ The Babylon Line ,” both of which took place inthe 1960 ’ s , the female characters wore dresses similar to those pictured here , and Michelle Obama wore a similar , A-line , belted , short-sleeved burgundy dress by Jason Wu to President Trump ’ s inauguration .
