Haya grew up in Tel Aviv in a one-bedroom apartment she shared with her parents and sister . She served in the army fortwo years when she turned 18 and then attended pharmacy school inIsrael before coming to the U . S . to attend to graduate school at Temple University . Four times a year she returns to Israel to visit her mother who is 94 and a Holocaust survivor .“ I take nothing for granted ,” she says of herlife and refers to her parents as “ selfless ”.
The master bedroom is a mix of interesting finishes with its white bedding , wood wall and different metals . The mirrors were chosen for their industrial , no-nonsense styling . The painting on the farwall is of Haya and wasdone after moving here .
