Ask aroomful of empty-nesters if they have thought about downsizing and chances are they will answer that they thinkabout it all the time . “ Should weorshouldn ’ twe ? When is the right time : after the kids goto college ? When the kids get married ? When the first grandchild is born ?” And if they ’ re going to downsize , they have tofigure out where they ’ re going to go . For Haya Taitel and Steve Becker , the answer came 2½ years ago in the form of aluxurious condominium inShort Hills , barely amile from their house on the other side of town . Sometimes the stars do indeed align .
