saw the recreation department’s flyer
and suggested that she field a team,
so she put together the HONEY DO’S
(which has since been renamed the
HONEY DON’TS .) “Anyone can join
our team,” Kombert-Grebin says. “We
have players who have never played
before.” Amy Talbert, catcher for the
Honey Don’ts, adds: “I tout myself as
being the worst player in the league!
There are people on our team who
are really good, and they don’t judge
me when I strike out. We make each
other laugh.”
