A mind, body, nature Experience at
Bacara Resort & Spa
F
or many travelers, it’s the singular experiences that draw them from
home. Enjoying morning yoga on the bluffs of the Pacific at Santa
Barbara’s only oceanfront resort is just such an experience.
“Yoga on the bluff has the perfect location for one of the region’s
best coastline views. The scenery from this location truly sets it apart and creates a
first-class Santa Barbara and Bacara experience,” says Derek Moore, lead trainer at
the Bacara Resort & Spa.
Available during the spring and summer on Thursday and Saturday mornings,
weather permitting, and by private arrangement, yoga on the bluff classes can accommodate all fitness levels.
“The bluff is the perfect place to lose oneself in a unique blend of mind, body and
nature,” Moore says. “The breeze, the view, the earth under one’s feet and the firstclass instruction make this a special experience everyone should try.”
Bacara yoga instructors each bring many years of experience and can tailor the
class to the group’s needs and desires.
“Bacara is the only resort in Santa Barbara located directly on the ocean,” Moore
says. “There is nothing between us and the ocean except sand. We love to take full
advantage of this unique attribute that truly sets our resort apart.”
Bacara Resort & Spa offers guests a 42,000-square-foot luxury spa experi-
ence, as well as a 3,500-square-foot fitness center, including a cardiovascular and
strength-training center, yoga and Pilates studies, and tennis courts. A variety of
group fitness classes and private sessions are also available.
