Hans Laursen succesfully built 13 optical retail stores . In 1996 he sold them to a major chain in the optical business . The sale was a consequence of Hans ´ deepfelt wish to dedicate his time to designing fashion eyewear . Hans ´ father Kristian Laursen , a trained optician with a strong passion for details , inspired Hans to choose his career .
DANISH DESIGN & FASHION
In 1987 Hans Laursen founded Inface Company , driven by the desire to create a Danish design company with fashion eyewear as the main business . Inface was founded within the same timeline as Lindberg and Pro-Design . These brands are now three heavyweights in the Danish optical business . With Hans being a trained , skilled and experienced optician combined with a passion and talent for design , the birth of Inface Company became a reality . Eyewear fashion to fit human faces .
THE PERFECT THREESOME
Hans ´ two children , Mette & Thomas joined the company in 2005 . Both are trained , skilled and experienced opticians ; the perfect threesome . Mette works with design and lays out the masterplans for the design teams and the collections . Thomas , head of sales , is quite a strong headed powerful young man with the will to win . A real Viking !

AESTHETICS & MUSIC
Mette has an aesthetic , pure yet feminine sense that is very important in the design process . The whole family shares a love of music that is shown in daily life at the office and online , not to forget a strong sense of humour ! A quick walk through the Inface building demonstrates that attitude , the shades in all windows bear the following motto : quality , service , humility , humour .
