Prairie spirit school Division
Prairie Spirit held elections in two
subdivisions on Wednesday, October 26. The
other ten subdivisions were fi lled by acclamation.
In Subdivision 1 (Blaine Lake, Laird,
Leask, Waldheim, Leask and Riverbend Hutterite
colonies), incumbent Pam Wieler was re-elected.
Wieler received 264 votes while challenger Lee
Rejc received 168 votes.
In Subdivision 2 (Duck Lake, Rosthern
and Hague), Trina Miller was elected as a
new Trustee. Miller received 508 votes while
incumbent Keith Wagner received 248 votes.
Ten Trustees were acclaimed in their positions,
including Garth Hetterly, Kimberly Greyeyes
and William Badger who are joining the Prairie
Spirit Board of Education for their fi rst terms as
Trustees.
The Board of Education will hold its
organizational meeting on Monday, November 7,
2016, when the Chair and Vice-Chair positions
will be determined along with Trustee membership
on Board committees.
Prairie Spirit School Division is
comprised of twelve subdivisions. For the 2016 -
2020 term, the following individuals will serve as
Prairie Spirit Trustees:
Subdivision No. 2: Trina Miller (newly elected
Trustee)
Subdivision No. 3: Ken Crush (incumbent
acclaimed)
Subdivision No. 4: George Janzen (incumbent
acclaimed)
Subdivision No. 5: Larry Pavloff (incumbent
acclaimed)
Subdivision No. 6: Bernie Howe (incumbent
acclaimed)
Subdivision No. 7: Dawne Badrock (incumbent
acclaimed)
Subdivision No. 8: Garth Hetterly (new Trustee,
acclaimed)
Subdivision No. 9: Bonnie Hope (incumbent
acclaimed)
Subdivision No. 10: Sam Dyck (incumbent
acclaimed)
Subdivision No. 11: Kimberly Greyeyes (new
