The girls have been practicing over the last month and their hard work is really paying off. The progress the girls are showing is evident as they have played both Venture Heights and Warman High over the last few weeks. Coaches Mrs. Briske and Mrs. Calow have been joined by intern Miss Friedman and Martensville High School student Shelby Davio to lead this year’s squad. Games and practices continue on into November. Watch for information on the boys team coming next week. Valley Manor School held its annual Halloween Family dance this past Thursday, October 27th. Over 600 students and parents attended the three dances and much fun was had by all. Super hero costumes seemed to dominate the spotlight but there were also a number of ghouls and goblins to be seen as well. Students also had the opportunity to show off their costumes one more time as they were encouraged to dress up for Halloween Monday afternoon and have some costume fun.
