Respond after
Hunter Finds
Human Remains
Shanine Sealey, Martensville Messenger
Warman RCMP were contacted Sunday,
November 20th at approximately 12:00pm that a hunter
had come upon human remains in the Rural Municipality
of Montrose, in the Swanson District. Montrose is located
near Delisle, and is 68 kilometers Southwest of Saskatoon.
According to RCMP, the remains were located in a
community pasture.
Warman RCMP attended the scene and along
with the Major Crime Unit – North, Saskatoon Forensic
Identification Services and the Office of the Chief Coroner,
continue the investigation.
An autopsy was scheduled for Monday,
November 21st to confirm the identity of the remains, and
determine the cause of death. At this time, it was unknown
if the remains were that of a male or female.
As the investigation continues, a hunting trail that
runs through the pasture had been closed to the public, and
police were still on site Monday. In a news release, the
RCMP stated that the investigation is in the preliminary
stages and further details will be released as they become
available.

First and First Boardshop Warman
First and First
Boardshop, located in
Warman, is a brand new
store containing men’s and
women’s apparel as well as
skateboards, snowboards,
shoes, jewelry and other
accessories.
Opening on the
22nd of October, Linden
Hergott introduced First
and First Boardshop with
the help of girlfriend,
Allison.
Hergott,
owner and operator
of First and First
Boardshop,
stated
that “this has been a
long time personal
dream to get my
own store going. I’ve
always had an interest
in
skateboarding
and snowboarding
so when I found the
opportunity to do it
I took advantage.”
Originating
from
Humboldt, Hergott
mentioned his draw
to the community of
Warman, mentioning how
he prefers a community
this size rather than the
hustle and bustle of
Saskatoon.
First and First offers a
great deal to choose from,
boards are certainly not
the only things in stock.
With the help of Hergott’s
girlfriend, Allison, the
couple have teamed up
well in diversifying the
store with items for
males, females and even
families. “The big thing
about us is that we are not
all about targeting youth
skateboarders; our shop
has stock for men, women
and families as well.
There is something for
everyone here,” informed
Hergott. Allison is a fulltime registered nurse,
and takes time out of her
busy schedule to help out
around the store. “I am
also a fashion blogger so
it has been fun adding my
own twist into this store.
It allows non-boarders to
shop here as well,” says
Allison. This enthusiastic
couple are proud and
excited to call this store
their own. Come and
check out First and First
Boardshop in Warman,
