Brief program and lunch to follow

MR MIKES® SteakhouseCasual is kicking off the holiday season in Martensville
with the annual “Deeds Well Done” community program. Between November 14 and
December 31, guests in Martensville are encouraged to nominate fellow community
members for their good deeds. A nominated “Good Deed Doer” in Martensville will be
selected to receive $500 from MR MIKES® to donate to a registered charity of their
choice. They will also receive a $100 MR MIKES® gift card as a thank you for taking
time out of their busy schedules to make a difference in their community. As well, anyone
who nominates a “Good Deed Doer” will receive a $10 MR MIKES® gift card. In total,
MR MIKES® will donate $16,000 to charities in 32 communities across British Columbia,
Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba this season.
The program was first launched four years ago to get people thinking about
what is really important around the holidays. For MR MIKES®, it was giving back to
the communities in which they are located. “’Deeds Well Done’ means a lot to us and
it’s important to celebrate the amazing things people are doing in our communities that
truly make a difference,” says Mike Cordoba, CEO, RAMMP Hospitality Brands Inc., the
company behind MR MIKES®.
To spread the spirit of “Deeds Well Done”, this year, many MR MIKES®
restaurants will be supporting their own local communities with good deeds ranging from
a warm-clothing drive to sponsoring holiday hampers for families.
With all 32 MR MIKES® SteakhouseCasual restaurants participating, some
amazing deeds will be celebrated in 2016. Please share your “Deeds Well Done” stories
