The past few weeks have
seen several storms, as
well as numerous weather
warnings for the area;
however, many local
residents were startled to
see funnel clouds forming
in the skies Sunday
evening, after the warning
from Environment Canada
had
already
ended.
Multiple funnel clouds
were spotted over the skies
of Saskatoon, Martensville,
Warman, and surrounding
areas that night, alarming
many.
A severe thunderstorm
watch had been issued
earlier in the day, and had
just been removed, as
thousands of people noticed
the funnel clouds forming.
Disappointingly, many were
informed of the clouds via
social media, where a
high volume of images
were being posted by
concerned individuals.
The clouds quickly
dissipated,
without
any of the intimidating
looking clouds touching
down locally.
