Prairie Heat brought home the silver in league playoffs. They played their first season in the Linda Downs Division beating New
Jack Swing in the semi final and faced the Knockouts in the final. The Heat finished 5th in league play and battled to get to the
final against the first place Knockouts in the playoffs. Congratulations to Prairie Heat!

rider Woes Continue
The Riders had a short
week going into Calgary on
Thursday coming off a big
loss to the Alouettes but
their inability to generate a
win continues. Things looked
promising in the first quarter.
They were down three but
Durant found Bagg for the
45-yard touchdown giving
them the 6-3 lead. The Riders
had their chances to put up
more points but newly signed
kicker Johnny Mark hit the
uprights and a strike to Bagg
ended in a fumble and ended
their drive and momentum.
