How They Met : Michael and Kaitlin grew up attending the same church and have been friends for many years . They became closer as they spent more time together working with their church youth group and as counselors at summer camp . In 2012 they began dating , and quickly knew that God had brought them together for a purpose . Michael ’ s proposal was intimate and romantic , by the fireplace and Christmas tree in Kaitlin ’ s home . Seven months later , their big day had finally arrived !
The Ceremony : Michael and Kaitlin ’ s ceremony was incredibly special and meaningful to them . It took place at the church where they met , was officiated by Michael ’ s dad and included a reading from Kaitlin ’ s cousin . One of the bride and groom ’ s good friends played guitar and sang their favourite songs and hymns as they exchanged their own vows before family and friends .
