THE RIGHT LOOK

Matthew Standen fell in love with
the unexpected during a visit to his
optician's office.
Standen chose the No. 4236 frames,
which have green accents on the
arms. As soon as he tried them on,
the frames leaped to the top of his
list of preferred frames.“I love that
they’re super light,” he said.
The 33-year-old Wiarton resident
has long preferred dark-framed
vintage- style eyewear, so it was
no surprise that he initially
gravitated towards those frames
while browsing for new glasses at
SaveSight Vision Centre near the
Bruce Peninsula.
“I look for frames that are stylish,
modern and current but still professional,” the local event planner
said before trying on several pairs.
“You don’t even feel like you’re
wearing glasses. They just disappear on your face. I like these ones
a lot.” Cole said the Silhouette line
has proven to be quite popular.

“I like the retro-shaped style of
these ones. They’re very current,”
he said, before setting them aside
as one of his top picks.
He then put on OGI Evolution’s
No. 9606 frames, which had a black
front with just a hint of tortoise
shell design, and olive green arms.
Again, the frames were similar to
his current pair. “I like that they’re
not all black and they have these
coloured arms,” he said. Melanie
Cole, the optical dispensary
manager at SaveSight, then

suggested Standen try something
different.
She directed him to a wall of Titan

distance, look like the person
