Faculty and staff donned in white chef ’s jackets served
the plated dinner to seniors. “They already do so
much for us students,” said Louise Magiera ’14, a
philosophy major. “But to go out of their way and
take a night off to serve us food was really incredible.”
At the end of the evening, members of the Class of
2014 received letters they had written to themselves at
orientation nearly four years earlier. “I had completely
forgotten about the letter,” said Katrin Muser ’14, a
sport management major. “It was nice to see to that I
had reached most of my goals.”
Helping students reach their goals is what
Manchester is about, Sherman said. “There’s
a whole world out there, and you can get
there from here.”
