Jonathan's Locket
My next book to come out will be Jonathan’s Locket. It holds a very special place in my heart as it takes place here on this beautiful island of Grand Cayman. It's a fantasy story built around a real historical event, "The Wreck of the Ten Sails", where ten ships crashed back in 1794. Red Coyote Inn
Without a doubt my favorite book is Mysteries of the Red Coyote Inn, The Adventures of Dean Banks. I lived in Arizona for 22 years and was always fascinated with the legends and lore to come out of the Superstition Mountains, This book is a full of urban legend, Native American lore and plenty of action. I wrote it with low readability and high interest to be able to motivate middle grades and young adults.There is also a bonus for educators on my website when they order they get a free comprehension worksheet and free Skype visits to classrooms.
Kindness & Generosity
I learned that kindness and generosity were virtues early on in my life. I also wanted to instill this into all of my students. We as teachers are role models and this is such a great gift to share with children. I really believe that you get back what you put out. I have been so blessed during my lifetime to have had so many people touch my life. And it’s really not so much of expecting anything in return, just the joy of knowing you were kind and helped someone out. It is truly a growing experience for the soul.
