BraXton cosby shares his dreams!

"I would love to make it to the big screen."

If you could dream, what is your biggest wish for the book?

That it would make it to the big screen. It’d be a huge accomplishment for fellow believers and for my church because the entire idea was birthed there. I think it has action, drama, emotion, love and intrigue. All the makings of a great screenplay that I think will translate well.

And for your own writing career?

I’d love to do it full time someday. I think my calling is to help and heal with my words as well as my hands. I hope that people are touched by this book and the other books to come with the series. I think they characters and their struggles are real and the choices they will have to eventually make beyond the first book will resonate with so many.

This week we will publish a blog together in the Huffington Post. The blog is all about 'getting' your children fit. Why is this such an important subject for you?

We have to get serious about our health now. There is a looming epidemic of obesity that is set to take over the world as early as 2030. Just imagine, that if you put on 2 pounds a year for the next 16 years, you could easily have added another 32 pounds to what you already weigh. That easily takes most people into the realm of obese if not morbidly obese. I want kids and young people especially, to take control of their health and be more conscious with the choices they are making about food and when they eat. All of us have a responsibility to make the next generation better by what we do today. Easily, we can make a difference by just educating ourselves and those around us.

This magazines features a section where we share things we love. I know you are someone that likes to share as well, so could you share some of the things you recently came across and that you absolutely love?

I love young adult books. I rediscovered reading through young adult novels about three years ago. And now, I am getting my children into reading by taking them to the book stores and encouraging them to read. I think it is so easy for us to get caught up in movies and television and forget about the power of our own minds and using that to build and explore new worlds. I also love frozen yogurt. Never underestimate the power of coffee and cookies and cream flavored yogurt while reading your favorite book. *sigh* Heaven.
