TWO GUYS PIZZA: LETHBRIDGE’S HOME FOR CRAFT BEER & PIZZA By: Cory Medd (“the guy” from Two Guys Pizza) and Tony Zappone (certified Cicerone®) When Cory Medd decided to move Two Guys And A Pizza Place from the “delivery & take-out” strip-mall location on 3rd Avenue to a bigger location on 11th St South and add a small dining room, he always knew the menu item he would add to draw people in: LOTS OF CRAFT BEER! “We wanted to keep it simple and concentrate on a few things and do a good job of those things – great pizza, craft beer, wine, baked pastas, salads, and other appetizers and items that you would expect to see at a pizza place” Medd says. The new Two Guys Pizza opened in January 2013. They still offer delivery & take-out from early in the day to late every night, but they now have a cozy dining room that is a comfortable dining experience for anybody – families, business meetings, first dates, celebrations, and beer lover gatherings. The restaurant was even featured on the Food Network’s show “You Gotta Eat Here!” last year. What can be better than a fresh hot pizza straight from the oven delivered to your table? How about a cold craft beer or cider served with it? Well Two Guys Pizza has 100 to choose from! And don’t forget to ask about the ‘beer passport loyalty program’ where you can track your love of craft beer and be rewarded for it! Tony Zappone is a certified Cicerone who works for Coulee Brewing Co. while attending Olds College Brewing School. Cory & Tony eat a lot of pizza and drink a lot of beer. Most of their waking hours are spent texting each other about ideas, flavours, trends, and pizza and beer pairings. The following is their lives work for you to enjoy! Cheers!
