Flying together teams from across the three Provinces of New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia; the Maritimes Magfed League (MML) was born from a desire to have a competitive option for players that enjoy the Milsim aspects of paintball. For the second year running teams will compete for bragging rights, a chance to take home the MML champions trophy, and some awesome prizes.
Games run for a maximum of ten (10) minutes or until one team has completely eliminated the other ( with elimination being the most common outcome of MML games). The MML also follows normal elimination rules, with the notable exception that any hits to one’s marker only remove the “HIT” marker (not necessarily the player) from play. Games are scored on a points system with three (3) points awarded for each Flag station, six (6) points awarded for the team that recovers the center objective, and one (1) point awarded for every member of the opposing team that has been eliminated for a total maximum of twenty (20) points. In the event that a team is totally eliminated any un-captured flags are awarded to the surviving team at one half their normal value. The lure of the high value center objective often makes for fast starts as both teams race to try and lock down the center of the field as quickly as possible in hopes of guaranteeing the coveted six points.
