How did you get into paintball?
When I was fifteen my dad took me and my brother to one of his work events where they played paintball. My mask fogged, I was friendly fired right in the butt and scared out of my mind, but I was hooked. I didn't play again for nine more years until a work event of my own and then a bachelor party. That first experience has stuck with me. The rush of adrenaline has never been matched; I still chase it today.
What made you make the switch to magfed?
Once I'd gotten my own gear and started playing on my own at CQB, I noticed that many people played with limited ammo using tac caps. Magfed wasn't the phenomenon it is now, but I did see a lot of people using pistols. I decided to get one myself and the simple act of reloading a marker with a magazine was so much fun I had to continue. It wasn't long after that when I gave away my Tippmann and bought my first magfed rifle; I've never looked back.
