Oui, nous avons une série de projets en perspective
qui nous excitent ! Pour le moment, notre grande
priorité demeure le lancement d’Azuri et celui de
l’hôtel. C’est un hôtel impressionnant construit
dans un cadre magnifique ! La plage vient carrément à la rencontre de la piscine – vous devriez
venir visiter !
In 2011, Damian Hamp Adams joined
the promoter of the IRS Azuri project.
Now in charge of Sales and Marketing
at IOREC, he tells us why Azuri has
such appeal.
Welcoming in nature and enthusiastic in spirit, within
minutes of meeting him, you start to understand how immense and magnificent Azuri has become.
Where did the concept of “Azuri Life in Blue” come from?
Azuri is found in a sheltered bay, surrounded by a turquoise lagoon with a white sand beach. The slogan has
been part of our marketing campaigns for the last two
years and has become a label that we are proud of.
How do you explain the fact that Azuri has sold more
rapidly than any other project in Mauritius?
Azuri is unique in the sense that it is the only IRS project
which brings together expatriates and Mauritians in the
same living environment. This adds to the character and
ensures year round activity for all of our owners.
How was it that nobody thought of that before?
Perhaps people had thought of it before but hadn't yet
taken the steps to look at it financially in terms of their
appraisals! Being that our prices start at a level 35% less
than our closest competitors in terms of IRS, meant that
we could ensure attractive pricing for Mauritians too, this
gave us traction in the market place for both products.
Who is the typical Azuri buyer?
In terms of demographics we have everyone from young
professionals with families to retirees. With regards to
our strongest markets, France and South Africa are
closely tied in the first position. Thereafter the UK and
Benelux countries are close behind along with other
African countries.
How have you managed to reach these markets?
We have chosen a very targeted approach using multiple
marketing disciplines. We are also big believers in the personal touch, so we regularly travel to meet with our clients
in person. We have had a huge response to our customer
service and will keep focused on this.
What is in the pipeline for the next phase of Azuri?
We have just launched a new IRS plot called Marsalin. It
is a block where all apartments are sea facing with stunning designs. This has proven to be extremely popular and
is selling like hot cakes !
Could you briefly describe the interior of an Azuri residence?
The architecture fits a Mauritian lifestyle with a big
focus on beautiful ocean views, lots of terraces and outdoor space. Design wise, all aspects focus the eye on the
location. High ceilings and open spaces contribute not
just to design but also assist in the natural cooling of
the properties.
Do you have any other projects on the island?
Yes, we are very excited a bout a number of projects we
have in the pipeline! For now, the big focus is the launch of
Azuri and the hotel. It is an impressive hotel with a magnificent setting! The beach comes up to meet the pool... you
must come and visit!
