The Aloft TiGi (Text it. Get it.) Emoji Room Service menu launched recently at the Aloft Manhattan Downton – Financial District, New York City, and to order, guests can select from six speciality kits, each with essential items that are easy to express via emoji. Their Ritz-Carlton Memories website displays guest photos as they are being posted and hashtagged on social media around the world. Snapshots are then localized to each hotel so that viewers looking at a particular destination will be able to see guest photos from that place. Visitors are encouraged to hashtag their posts with #RCMemories or #RitzCarlton and could well see their content on the website or reposted on one of Ritz Carlton’s 12 social channels.
