consultation that evaluates all four pillars of wellness , to pinpoint the underlying cause of presenting symptoms , and are prescribed a bespoke treatment plan accordingly that will work towards cohesiveness in the body between mental , spiritual and physical health . Depending on individual needs , this might focus on detoxifying therapies such as cupping to cleanse the body , stem cell therapy to rejuvenate , Osteopathy to treat the musculoskeletal system or guided meditations and yoga to restore emotional balance .
The philosophy behind the Ayurah Spas and Wellness Centers extends to the core of the AKARYN Hotel Group , as they believe that finding balance in your body ’ s wellbeing is just as essential to keeping the balance in nature . When the AKARYN Hotel Group was started , the aim was to make sure that wherever a resort is built , the tranquil environment and surrounding nature would not just be preserved , but safeguarded for a better tomorrow . With this philosophy in mind the Pure Blue Foundation was created , co-founded in 2010 by AHG and Aleenta Resorts , and set up to preserve the ocean ’ s ecosystem and the local communities around their properties and across all of their brands including Aleenta , akyra and Akaryn , all of which operate under the guideline of the Pure Blue Foundation .
For the past six years AKARYN has worked with the local communities to promote a number of initiatives . Through education the hotel group hopes to bring awareness of the ocean ’ s eco system to the next generation in the hope that they will be able to continue to facilitate change . The Aleenta Phuket-Phang Nga has worked with nearby Baan Khao Pilai School for a number of years and the resort has given away six scholarships to ensure the students have everything they needed to complete the school year . The resort also arranges trips for students to the nearby Thai Mueang Turtle Sanctuary , which repopulates the rare leatherback species . The Pure Blue Foundation has supported the program since its inception , furthering children ’ s marine conservation knowledge .
This ethos also moves from sea to the land with one of their luxury beachfront properties , Aleenta Hua Hin , operating an organic farm on its grounds that not only supplies the resort with fruit and vegetables but also fills the plates of locals , who are allowed to take food home when they work the farm . Visitors can also pick freely in exchange for replanting a seed as a way of paying forward . The property also incorporates a carbon free method of preparing and cooking meals . The farm ’ s vegetables and smoked meat is transported to the resort kitchen by bicycle or a tuk-tuk powered by fuel made from cooking oil disposed of by other local resorts . Once in the kitchen , slow cooking and creative natural techniques are used with dishes cooked in solar ovens , smoke houses and with methods based on molecular cooking to ensure minimal carbon footprint . Such dishes can be made by clay pots buried in the hot sand on the beach , solar baked cakes cooked in wooden boxes lined with foil , and steamed seawater seaweed .
