HOW DID YOU START WEDDING CONCEPTS?
I started Wedding Concepts seeing a gap in
the market here in South Africa at a time
when the wedding planning industry was in
its infancy and no-one offered a strong focus
on exclusive designs and great, bespoke 5*
planning service.
Being German and having lived & worked in
different countries around the world before I
started my company means I follow international trends and love immersing myself in
different cultures.
WHAT INSPIRES YOUR CREATIVITY?
Traveling inspires me most - my love for European culture, fabulous food, photography, design
trends, and boutique hotels. I have soft spot for luxury and elegance – and all of this inspires my life
& work.

We are the only European owned wedding management company here in South Africa (and dare I
say possibly Africa…) and employ an amazingly enthusiastic, multi-cultural team with a truly international mind-set.
We always try to push boundaries and to set some new design trends with our weddings. Luxury,
bespoke designs, great attention to detail and hand-crafted exclusivity are high on our agenda. Each
celebration has its unique signature and is a complete reflection of each of our clients – down to the
smallest detail.
