W

e often ponder hair styles, wracking our brains trying to figure out what best fits us. Which
style is out-dated or if trying out a new hair stylist will work out. I know first hand that many
of us have had bad experiences when it comes to letting someone do our hair for the first time.
Or even trying something new with our regular hair dresser can be intimidating. Be that as it
may, I found an artist about 9 months ago when she was a part of the team who did the cover
for Makeup Extravaganza, Part Three. Carina Tafulu’s work was impeccable. Her style was
unmatched. I had literally never seen anything like it grace our pages, let alone one of our covers. So, it is with great pleasure that I introduce you to someone I consider to be the Leonardo
Da Vinci of today’s hair art. Though Tafulu’s style is uniquely her own, I’d describe it as Avant Garde and innovative as well.
Did I mention breathtaking or trend-setting? Well, excuse my manners because what she does is so great, yet so different, I’d be
understating her work if I didn’t stress how impressed we’ve been. I’ve always spoken highly of the artists I feature and this is no
different. Except that, I can’t truly find the words for this artist and feel as of I haven’t spoken highly enough.
