EVENT: THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS MD ANDERSON CHILDREN’S
CANCER HOSPITAL AND THE GALLERIA BACK-TO-SCHOOL
EVENT AND CHILDREN’S FASHION SHOW
WHERE: GALLERIA IV
MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital and The
Galleria teamed up to host the annual back-to-school
event and fashion show encouraging families to take
a break from the summer sun and get ready for a new
school year. Guests and area residents enjoyed the
fashion show as pediatric cancer patients, MD
Anderson physicians, caregivers, supporters’ children
and Page Parkes models highlighted this season’s
trends on the runway. Patient models inspired shoppers and a huge Strike Through Cancer Wall
engaged them to join the fight to end cancer. In addition to watching the runway show and signing the
cancer wall, families enjoyed face painters, balloon
artists and posting their cancer wall photos in support
of loved ones and MD Anderson’s efforts to #endcancer. All donations given at the event benefit MD
Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital.
