LETTER
FROM THE

Which brings me to our annual Fashion Issue. In the following pages, you’ll
read about local people – new names and familiar ones – who follow their
own paths fashion-and style-wise, in addition to all the food, community and
art coverage we bring you every month. In a really unorthodox fashion
spread, artists Marjon Aucoin and Dandee Warhol have teamed up with
stylist MarziFat to blur the lines between fashion and reality. This month,
you’ll also explore great places to shop, dine out with Janice Schindeler and
Brian Tagtmeier, go to the club with Mike Cook and learn what Greggory
Burk loves…I’ll admit it, I’ve been dying to know. Thanks to our great team
of writers and photographers for once again helping us put out another solid
issue of LOCAL.
Stay cool,
Tim Moloney

oday, the temperature finally dropped, and suddenly it really feels like
fall (mid-70s). I love the change of seasons and the chance to maybe
wear a sweater outdoors, or even the poncho my friend Jay Landa brought me
from Peru a few months ago. I might not be worthy of a fashion profile, but
I’ve reached an age where I pretty much wear whatever makes me happy or
laugh that day. Luckily, I don’t work in a corporate environment where I would
die a slow death by a thousand Dockers.
