Astros players , executives and legends gathered at Minute Maid Park to celebrate the second annual Diamond Dreams Gala featuring legendary performer Diana Ross , hosted by The Astros Foundation as well as New Hope Housing , an organization combatting homelessness by providing housing and support services for those in need . The gala celebrated the grand finale of the Astros 2017 Caravan , an annual community outreach tour traveling throughout Houston and Central and South Texas . Astros Owner and Chairman Jim Crane and Astros Foundation Executive Director Twila Carter attended the event as well as Astros players Jose Altuve , Carlos Correa , Chris Devenski , Mike Fiers , Yuli Gurriel , James Hoyt and Astros legends Terry Puhl , Nolan Ryan and Craig Biggio . The charitable event benefited The Astros Foundation as well as New Hope Housing .

EVENT : 2017 MOTIVATED MOM “ SUPER MOM “ SUPER BOWL LI CELEBRITY LUNCHEON WHERE : HESS CLUB
Moms , entrepreneurs and media professionals enjoyed a full afternoon of empowered networking at The Motivated Mom Tour “ Super Mom ” Super Bowl LI Luncheon Edition held at the Hess Club . The tour is designed to equip and empower moms to be “ great women and extraordinary moms ” by touching on topics like personal sacrifice , entrepreneurial choices and challenging financial management decisions made by many celebrity moms to ensure their families follow their passions , goals and dreams . The event was moderated by Michelle Thornton , author , speaker and mom to Jordan and Taylor Thornton . Senior Vice President from BET Centric , she held a stellar celebrity panel of moms including Jonetta Patton , CEO of JPat Management and J ’ s Kitchen , mom to Usher Raymond ; Rose Rock , former educator , author and mom to Chris and Sibs Rock ; Crystal Wilson , singer , manager and mom to R & B singer Shanice ; and others . The 2017 Motivated Mom Tour will continue its exciting journey with an eightcity tour commencing soon .
