EVENT: HEART OF FASHION’S MAY MYSTERY SHOW
WHERE: JULIA IDESON BUILDING
Vivian Wise and Heart of Fashion hosted
the highly anticipated May Mystery Show.
Actors from The Catastrophic Theatre playing Mrs. Peacock, Miss Scarlet, Professor
Plumb and rest of the gang emerged as suspects in Clue-like fashion when a runway
model “dropped dead” and her jewels
appeared to be stolen. Guests participated
in helping the Chief Inspector solve the mystery while sipping champagne and eating
delicious mini-cupcakes from Sprinkles.
Vivian Wise introduced the evening’s honoree, her sister Mary Elizabeth Sand, who
spoke about her personal experience with
the mysterious disease Lupus. The evening’s
event raised funds for the Texas Legacy
Foundation, who will make a direct contribution to the Lupus Foundation of America,
Texas Gulf Coast Chapter.
