GOOD EATS DISTRICT 7 GRILL $$ Salad, Seafood, Breakfast & Brunch | 501 Pierce St. 713.751.0660 | www.district7midtown.com My very favorite spot for brunch-–there isn’t a mimosa in town I prefer. I love sitting on the wraparound porch, sipping a mimosa, chatting and watching cars. Plus, there’s rarely a crowd. It makes for an easy morning with delicious food. The blackened mahi tostada is my go-to, but the regular menu and brunch menu both don’t disappoint. Definitely order the large mimosa, or you’ll have to order a second. –Anne C., Yelp BLACK & WHITE $$ Mediterranean, Seafood | 1001 Studewood 346.980.8484 | blackandwhitehou.com Went here with some friends for their Sunday all day happy hour... great location in the Heights and great experience. There was a pretty great wine selection but also great cocktails for brunch as well. Ended up getting the bloody mary and paired it with the Croque Madame breakfast sandwich. Unique menu during the week, but pretty great American-style brunch selection. Great food and would highly recommend if looking for a tasty/trendy new spot in the area! –Erin S., Yelp JINYA RAMEN BAR $$ Ramen | 3201 Louisiana St., Ste. 105 832.925.8596 | jinya-ramenbar.com Although it’s a little pricey for a bowl of ramen, I thought the quick sitting, quick service and amazing ambiance was more than worth the experience. My small group had only stayed long enough to finish the food we had, but our experience there was really nice. Our visit didn’t feel rushed, nor did it feel like they wanted to kick us out ASAP. –Lizzy B., Yelp 30 L O C A L
