Networking & Gala Dinner
SCLG, Supply Chain and Logistics Group held its 8th annual Industry Networking & Gala Dinner on
24th February at the JW Marriott, Dubai.
Conceptualized, developed and grown as a forum of industry and business level connection and collaboration, this annual networking is well appreciated and attended by senior decision makers from
retail, manufacturing, academics, distribution, 3 PLs, ports & shipping, airlines and technology & automation—100+ senior executives from 70 plus organizations attended this annual industry networking
and dinner.
Mr. Ravi Subramanian, President Executive Committee SCLG welcomed all attendees and highlighted
that SCLG should be leveraged as community for growth, innovation and collaboration.
Dr. Rakesh Singh, Director IMT (Institute of Management Technology) Dubai Campus delivered brilliant presentation themed on Global Supply Chain risks and opportunities in current economy scenario.
The speech enumerated the various factors that have resulted in the global economic slowdown and
emphasized the need for a strong collective effort by the industry and policy makers in order to mitigate
the risk of further slowdown and a possible recovery.
