Let’s Get Sketchy

I started scrapbooking in 2001. I wanted
to record my daughter's last year of high
school and thought about a scrapbook filled
with wonderful events from those very special
years. I was hooked after that and never
looked back.
My scrapbooking must haves are papers,
lots of lovely designed papers to layer with,
flowers and bling. These items if arranged
correctly draw the eye in to your piece of art
and direct you to your subject.
What I love most about this hobby is the
freedom to let your mind explore creatively. I
spend not hours but days on any one project.
It's so relaxing.

December: special Christmas issue

Inspiration: Blog challenge sites such as
"Lets Get Sketchy" are my favorite go to's
for inspiration. They provide the starting
point for my creations. I also enjoy seeing
what other artists are doing. They keep me
up to speed with the latest and greatest
techniques out there in the scrapping
world.
What I love most about LGS would be
their incredibly talented design team:
I can always count on finding great sketches
and see how their team interpreted them.
It a fun and challenging place to go to relax
and be creatively challenged.
