THE ART OF CAPTAIN COOK’S VOYAGES Saturday 25 March (2-5pm) Fee: £15
Captain Cook led three expeditions to the Pacific during the 1760s and 1770s,
and was notable for including professional artists among his crew. Their work,
and its effect on European understanding of their settings, will be examined.
