College Coin Laundry was getting excellent reviews and was well-regarded on Yelp. This spoke strongly to their excellent customer service that set the laundromat apart. It had been a client of CheckBox in the past, but they allowed thier subscription to lapse. Yahoo! Local and a host of other sites only contained partial data, so the business' listings were not standing out. They only contained the minimum data...name, address and phone number. Due to this, the laundromat was not coming up at the top of the generic search results on Google and Yahoo!.

Once College Coin Laundry renewed their subscription, CheckBox took control of their business listings. CheckBox worked with them to collect a comprehensive set of authorotative business data. Then, CheckBox began the complex process of over-writing incorrect data, augmenting the incomplete data, and providing a full data set where there was no longer any business listing.

Two weeks later we reviewed the results:

On Google, College Coin was the #1 result for the following searches: "Safest Laundromat Oceanside", "College Coin Laundry", "College Coin Laundry Oceanside", and several other key search terms including: "Coin Op Laundry Oceanside", "Laundromat Oceanside", and "Laundromat in Oceanside".

Additionally, it was the number one site on numerous other sites including: Yahoo!, Bing, DexKnows, and SuperPages.com under a plethora of relevant search terms.

This campaign was coupled with an aggressive mobile display advertising campaign that reached even more consumers when they were within the service area of College Coin Laundry.

The data delivered by the search engines is constantly changing. You need to stay on top of them.
