Eric Dyck
Eric is a cartoonist and art educator living in Lethbridge . He has shared his love of cartoons and comic-storytelling in art galleries , museums , schools , and libraries throughout Alberta and New Brunswick . Eric and his wife moved to Lethbridge in 2013 , and since then he has been documenting his experiences and adventures in Southern Alberta through his webcomic , Slaughterhouse Slough . Eric uses his webcomic to share about the people that he meets , the stories that he hears , and as a means of learning more about the history of his new home .
Jay Herrington
Jay is relatively new to Southern Alberta . Having been raised near Saint John , NB , he is no stranger to the small-town feel that comes with living and working in Lethbridge . In the radio business since 1993 , Jay spent most of his career as a broadcast journalist in Ontario working for the legendary CHUM group along with stints with Astral Media , Bell Media , and Corus Entertainment . With brothers in Medicine Hat and Kelowna , and in-laws in Salt Lake City , Utah , the move to Lethbridge was an easy choice to make in 2014 for Jay and his wife , Adele . A father of two preschoolers , Jay often finds himself trying to nap unsuccessfully on the couch . He is one half of The Bridge Breakfast with Jay and Corlee , weekday mornings from 5:30 a . m . to 10:00 a . m , on Lethbridge ’ s home for Modern Hit Music , 98.1 The Bridge .
Amanda Berg
Amanda has lived in Lethbridge since 1994 . She achieved her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Management degrees from the University of Lethbridge , and is currently the Front of House Manager for the University of Lethbridge Theatres . Her articles have appeared in Legacy Magazine , Lethbridge Home Trends and Lethbridge living . Amanda is a fine arts enthusiast , and loves spending time on her family ranch .
