Frank Campana (B.A., ’96)
A Work Ethic Learned at Home in the Southeastern Bronx
Made All the Difference for this Hedge Fund Manager
Hard work, determination and the will-to-succeed were all integral
parts of hedge fund manager Frank Campana’s character from
an early age. Those qualities were of critical importance when he
transferred to Lehman College as a sophomore in the early 1980s.
During his years at Lehman, the business leader simultaneously
held two part-time jobs, while studying economics often at night
and in weekend classes.
Since 1999, the 51-year old alumnus has been a partner at
Quest Global Advisors, a global hedge fund, based in Greenwich, Connecticut. According to HedgeWeek, an industry trade
magazine, Campana and his longtime partner James Doolin “have
successfully navigated numerous periods of financial instability,
unprecedented volatility and market cyclicality.” Campana cites his
fund’s overall return and ability to navigate the recession with few
downturns, as one of his most successful accomplishments.
The married father of four lives comfortably in suburban Montvale,
