Try a New Fitness Class on Us
Take this opportunity to "try on" some of the fitness classes at no charge and see
if it's right for you. If you like it, register for the full class session which begins
the following week. Registra on is required for the Free Try-It! classes, even
for current par cipants. Note: only specific classes have the Free Try-It! session
available.
Indoor Walking
Walk the hallways of Skyview Community School and/
or John Glenn Middle School and forget the worries
of inclement weather. Mondays through Thursdays,
6:30–8:30 pm and 9:00–11:30 am on most Saturdays,
January through March 2017. A er you register, you
will receive a Walking Club Card and a list of dates the
buildings are not available. If you register online, please
call 651-748-7232. Check out a walking badge from
the building supervisor and walk your way to fitness.

Nordic Pole Walking
Take a simple walk and turn it into a full body
workout without feeling like you are working any
harder! Increase your heart rate, burn more calories,
strengthen your upper body and create resistance to
build be er bone density. Poles are provided for use
during this walk and informa on is available on where
to purchase poles of your own. Give it a try, you will
be hooked! Wear comfortable shoes and dress for
weather, the class is held outside. Following instruc on
you will be walking along the Gateway Trail. Kay Okey

Yoga
Increase your strength, flexibility and your ability to
focus and relax. Classes include breathing exercises,
postures and final relaxa on. Yoga is prac ced without
wearing socks or shoes. Wear comfortable clothing and

PiYo LIVE
PiYo LIVE is an intense cardio workout that combines
Pilates with the strength and flexibility of yoga
movements all in one class. It is designed for all fitness
levels from beginner to advanced as all moves may be
modified. Best of all, the only equipment necessary
is a mat. Use your own body weight to sculpt out an
amazing body! Bring an exercise mat and water to class.
