Bochinche Blvd: Miami & South Florida 2ND ANNUAL LATIN SONGWRITERS HALL OF FAME OSCARCITO’S TUMBAYE CHRISTMAS PARTY By Gabriela Guerrero By Gabriela Guerrero Internationally acclaimed singers, songwriters, producers, business executives and music publishers attended the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame 2nd Annual Induction Ceremony & Awards, La Musa Awards, at the Ritz Carlton in South Beach. This year’s inductees were Gloria Estefan (Cuba,) Omar Alfanno (Panama,) Lolita De La Colina (México,) and Rafael Pérez Botija (Spain). Tributes and performances were given to the honorees by different talented artists from around the world including Luis Enrique, Ednita Nazario, Jon Secada, Jencarlos Canela, Alejandro Sanz, Rafael Negrete, and Diego Torres. Venezuelan singer Oscarcito celebrated Christmas in Miami with his fans at a special presentation of his new single Tumbaye; which is rapidly climbing to the top of the Billboard Tropical charts. This special presentation took place at La Scala of Brickell and some of his guests onstage included Gocho, Maffio, Victor Muñoz and Gabriel Parisi. The Latin Songwriters Hall of fame was founded in 2012 by songwriter/producers Desmond Child and Rudy Perez. Inductees are selected every year by a nominating committee comprised of songwriters, performers, musicians, producers, engineers, music critics, and industry executives.
