L'incontournable : St-Joseph de Beauce
The truck show in St-Joseph de Beauce is well known . Thousands of truck enthousiasts come every year , to enjoy the "up-hill truck drag races" , directly in town ,on a street that was transformed in a racetrack .
We have contacted Mr.Benoit Gagné, the event organiser . He was telling us , how proud, he was of the growing succes that he is having with the show : Each year , between 55 and 60 trucks of the classes C,B,A and open , can be seen on the racetrack , which is a spectacular show , believe me !
Mr. Gagné shered some numbers with us : each day, his event welcomes more than 25 000 fans, and, in the last 10 years, it has contribute to raise $ 652 000.00 that was generously distributed to more than 20 charities . The truck parade is now so popular , that he have to refuse some trucks. " We are now at the point that we only take the 300 first inscriptions" , he says .
For the 2013 edition , a free outdoor music show was offered, nothin less than Simple-Plan ! ... That was beside the extreme "free-style" motorcycle stunts , that keep the audience dazzeled .
Hundreads of trucks were comming from all over Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick and the United-States, to be a part of the famous parade .
Every year it's a must !!! .... See you there in 2014 !!!
