Tribute to ...
For this first column " Tribute to ...'' , I give myself permission to pay tribute to my father, Denis Bessette , who, along the road of his, too short, life, has, in his way, influenced the trucking buisness in Quebec . The 70's and the 80's were marked by the green cabovers of Bessette Transport ( company that he started with his brother Claude ), later , some red and blue Kenworth appeared , then, the 80's will end with some white trucks , with Routec Transport , who is going to change the image of the fleet for some blue T-800 .
1943 / 1993 .... 50 years to live in the fast lane ....And more than 20 years to miss you ...
