would like to pose a question about the nature of the relationship of your art with your audience . Do you consider the issue of audience reception as being a crucial component of your decision-making process , in terms of what type of language is used in a particular context ?
I like to think my imagery is accessible and universal to a wide-ranging audience , and I keep that aim in mind as I work . I ' m not sure if I would say there is any direct involvement between my audience and the work – there is visual experience , formal appreciation , and conceptual reflection , but nothing more complicated than that . I try to choose series titles that are simple and straightforward , usually a word that I have in mind with some amount of frequency while I am working , that I feel summarizes my main ideas while creating that project .

I recently started working on a larger scale ( 36x60 ”), and I intend to continue working bigger . I would like to introduce new textures and colors , as well as directly suggesting skin and aspects of human anatomy . I have a handful of printmaking projects ( etchings and screen prints ) that I have started and
